Senior Java Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

• 7+ years of software development experience with strong Java 17+ expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Java, OOP, SOLID, Collections, Streams, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with Spring frameworks.
• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Good understanding of microservice architecture, distributed systems, resiliency, scalability, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with AWS, including services such as S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge; experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases is preferred.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, automated testing, Git, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Strong understanding of API security, OAuth2/JWT, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues, performance problems, and distributed-system failures.
• Ability to participate in architecture/design discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to other engineers.
• Experience using AI tools for software development, including code generation, code review, debugging, test generation, documentation, and developer productivity.
