Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Core Java 8, Java EE, Spring Boot, EJB, JSP, Servlets, and Microservices Architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade banking applications while ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

The role requires hands-on development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members while driving engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8 and Java EE standards.
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices-based applications.
• Develop business components using EJB 3.2.
• Create dynamic web applications using JSP and Servlets.
• Develop secure, reusable, and high-performance application components.

Microservices & API Development

• Design RESTful services and backend integrations.
• Build scalable microservices architectures.
• Ensure high availability and performance of APIs and services.
• Implement best practices for application security and maintainability.

Design & Architecture

• Participate in solution design and architecture discussions.
• Review technical designs and propose improvements.
• Contribute to system design, scalability, and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.

Quality & Performance

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Optimize application performance and database interactions.
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Ensure quality through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery processes.
• Mentor junior developers and support technical knowledge sharing.
