Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and application development and support. The ideal candidate can analyze technical requirements, develop and maintain applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to system improvements while ensuring code quality and reliable application performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain applications using Java and Spring technologies.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and support full-stack development requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and implement improvements to prevent recurring incidents.
• Review change requests and assess their technical feasibility, dependencies, and impact on existing systems.
• Apply software design principles, coding standards, and best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Conduct unit testing and prepare technical documentation.
• Coordinate with users, project teams, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide progress updates.
• Support application deployment, knowledge transfer, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Candidates from other educational backgrounds with extensive relevant experience may also be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer, including application analysis and troubleshooting.
• Strong, recent hands-on experience with Java 8/17 and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with Spring MVC and knowledge of Spring Security, including CSRF protection.
• Experience with REST APIs, legacy Spring Framework, and JSF/JSP.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and separation of concerns.
• Experience with MySQL, Apache Tomcat 10.1, Maven, and Ant.
• Familiarity with C#, .NET, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, TFS, Git Flow, and Agile Scrum.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, coding, debugging, and testing skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and end users.
