Senior Java Developer with French

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join an Agile team working on the modernization and evolution of enterprise data management platforms.

In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of modern APIs, help define application architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, DevOps Engineers, QA specialists, and Operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Main responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture

• Contribute to the definition of application and technical architecture.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.
• Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Promote development best practices and coding standards across the team.

Software Development

• Develop and maintain Java-based APIs and backend services.
• Implement new features and enhance existing applications.
• Ensure software quality, reliability, and maintainability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical excellence initiatives.

Quality & Automation

• Develop unit and integration tests using TDD and BDD practices.
• Maintain high code quality standards and test coverage.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Support quality gates and code analysis processes.

Security & Compliance

• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure applications comply with security standards and secure development practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of application security.

Performance & Operations

• Monitor and optimize API and application performance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams on performance and load testing activities.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.

Documentation & Delivery

• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
• Document architectural decisions and technical designs.
• Participate in release planning, deployment, and production support activities.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java software development.
• Proven experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience working within complex environments involving modern and legacy system integrations.
