Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Role Purpose The aim of this role is to understand the functional requirements of applications and services in order to assist in designing, coding, and testing technical solutions. The role also involves documenting the necessary system artifacts during development, in accordance with ELM’s policies and procedures and as instructed by supervisors.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Daily Operations
• Follow day-to-day operations related to the role to ensure continuity of work.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, considering international best practices, business process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate departmental/section reports in line with company requirements, policies, and standards.
• System Development
• Assist in developing or customizing Liferay using Hooks and EXT Plug-ins, with a strong understanding of their use-case scenarios.
• Assist in developing or consuming Web Services to fulfill different integration requirements.
• System Design & Control
• Assist in designing major system components to ensure the design meets technical, functional, performance, and business requirements.
• Participate in preparing and delivering High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Project Implementation
• Assist in monitoring and reporting task status, identifying issues that may hinder task completion, and recommending and implementing corrective measures.
• Assist in managing the implementation of major system components to ensure they meet technical, functional, performance, and business requirements and comply with the solution architecture.
• Policies, Processes & Procedures
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is performed in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to maintain a healthy and safe work environment.

• Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
