We CGI looking for a highly motivated Senior Full Stack Engineer to be part of its dynamic, globally distributed team of IT professionals responsible for the development and maintenance of Digital Shared Services platform.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will use innovative technologies to provide first class digital experience for our clients and customers. You will be involved in building or enhancing business capabilities in client's workplace business domain. In an agile structure, you will collaborate with other technology and business teams to establish our development standards, be part of strategic decisions and build solutions across business capabilities.

This position is located on-site in Lafayette, LA (Preferred), Bloomfield, CT, Raleigh, NC or in a Hybrid working Model.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Building scalable, server-side enterprise applications, domain logic intensive RESTful APIs
• Re platforming large applications
• Designing, developing and maintaining high volume transactional systems
• Developing cloud neutral applications in AWS and Azure
• Debug through legacy systems, C++ & COM, and capture current state to aid with modernization

• Participate in and contributes to formal reviews of architecture, design and code
• Publish clear, concise and thorough design documentation
• Provide support for software releases into production environments
• Foster teamwork and collaboration across global development teams, business and systems partners.
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of developers

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role At least 8+ years of Software Development experience on business critical, enterprise-wide applications

Strong knowledge of Java coding practices for mid-tier applications that perform business logic and calculations.

• Experience developing skills in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot
• Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Experience in design patterns & principles such as SOA, Microservices etc.
• Experience with developing different design patterns
• Experience developing software utilizing relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server or Sybase)
• Experience developing software applications with Popular IDEs (Eclipse/IntelliJ), GraphQL
• Experience with Source Control Systems such as GIT
• Experience with CICD Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• An understanding of Microservices Architecture and domain driven design patterns
• Developing and deploying 12 factors, containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) API's to AWS/Azure
• Collaboration with producer and consumer teams to implement end to end solutions in a customer obsessed
• Experience with Test automation for unit, functional and non-functional testing (SOATEST, SOASTA, Cucumber)
• Ability to develop technical artifacts based on analysis of business and systems requirements
• Aptitude to discover/document implementations from legacy systems, C++, Java., .NET, as part of re platform.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of the current technologies and evolving trends
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
• Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $82,600.00 $144,600.00.
