Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Camunda 8 Developer / Technical Lead with 8+ years of overall IT experience and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Camunda BPM, Java, Spring Boot, workflow automation, and enterprise application development . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Camunda 8, BPMN, DMN, CMMN, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and AWS , with experience designing and implementing complex enterprise workflow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade business processes and workflow solutions using Camunda 8 .
• Create process maps and develop reusable workflow components using BPMN, DMN, and CMMN standards.
• Design and implement complex Camunda processes, services, forms, decision tables, and workflow components .
• Design, build, and maintain Camunda applications integrated with enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and custom UI solutions.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into high-level and low-level technical designs and scalable solutions.
• Develop enterprise applications and backend services using Core Java/J2EE and Spring Boot , following clean coding and software development best practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, multithreading, Java 8+ features, and Java application development .
• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot , including API integration, authentication, error handling, and service-to-service communication.
• Develop Java-based integrations with Camunda 8 , including custom workers, service integrations, workflow components, business logic, and external system integrations.
• Apply Java design patterns, dependency injection, logging, unit testing, exception handling, and performance optimization while developing enterprise applications.
• Integrate Camunda workflows with external systems using REST APIs, web services, microservices, and event-driven integration patterns .
• Work with AWS cloud services to design, deploy, integrate, and support scalable Camunda and Java-based applications.
• Participate in requirements gathering, technical discussions, solution design, customer demonstrations, application walkthroughs, and technical presentations.
• Work closely with business users, client managers, portfolio leads, architects, technical teams, and global stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective workflow solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams, conduct design/code reviews, mentor developers, and establish development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Camunda, Java, integration, workflow, and production issues .
• Ensure applications are designed for scalability, reliability, maintainability, security, and performance .
• Work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments , participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Utilize JIRA for sprint planning, backlog management, task tracking, defect management, and project coordination.
• Communicate effectively with senior technology leadership, management teams, customers, business stakeholders, and global counterparts .

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Camunda development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Camunda 8
• Strong knowledge of BPMN, DMN, and CMMN
• Strong Java/J2EE development experience
• Strong experience with Java 8+
• Strong Spring Boot experience
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience developing Java-based Camunda integrations and custom workers
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies
• Experience integrating Camunda with custom UI and enterprise applications
• Strong knowledge of Java design patterns, OOP, exception handling, multithreading, collections, dependency injection, logging, and unit testing
• Experience with enterprise application integration and workflow automation
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Experience with JIRA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor development teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
