Senior Java Developer – Contract

Location: London – 3 days per week onsite

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a development team on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on developer with strong Java expertise, a passion for clean code and a test-driven approach to software development.

You will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining robust, scalable applications using modern Java technologies and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java applications.
• Build and enhance microservices and backend services using Spring Boot.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code in line with engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners and other developers to deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
