Senior Java/J2EE Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Support existing applications, troubleshoot defects and deliver new functionality.
• Work as part of a product-based team across multiple projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Architects, Developers and Testers.
• Identify and escalate technical issues to Development Leads or Team Managers with clear and concise communication.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in software quality, development practices and delivery speed.
• Participate in Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery environments.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong contemporary knowledge and practical application of software design and development.
• Strong experience in Java backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
• Experience with J2EE / Java EE web development.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Vue.js and/or React.
• Experience with Node.js or C# will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting complex enterprise solutions.
• Experience working within high-performance, collaborative development teams.
• Experience with modern CI/CD tools, such as:
• Azure DevOps
• Jenkins
• Bamboo
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• A continuous-improvement mindset with a focus on quality and delivery efficiency.

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
