Senior / Junior / Graduate Structural Design Engineer

About the role

Join the team at H&T CONSULTING ENGINEERS SDN. BHD. as a Senior / Junior / Graduate Structural Design Engineer in our Malaysia office. This full-time role will see you playing a key part in the delivery of complex structural engineering projects across a range of sectors. You will work closely with the wider team to provide expert technical leadership and guidance.

What you'll be doing

1. Lead the structural design of a variety of building and infrastructure projects
2. Oversee and review the work of more junior engineers to ensure the highest quality outputs
3. Collaborate with the wider project team including architects, contractors and clients
4. Provide technical expertise and innovative solutions to complex structural challenges
5. Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards and regulations
6. Contribute to the development of the team through knowledge sharing and mentoring

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years for senior post and 2 years for junior post in structural design experience. Graduate engineers are encouraged to apply. Bridges and Underground Station Structures design experience will be an added advantage, ideally within a consultancy environment
2. Excellent technical knowledge of structural analysis and design principles
3. Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
4. Ability to lead and mentor more junior team members
5. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent with CGPA 3.3 and above.
