Senior Kafka Platform Engineer

Position Title: Senior Kafka Platform Engineer (Open-Source Kafka & Kubernetes)

Primary Skills: Kafka, Kubernetes & CloudRole & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• 6+ years of Apache Kafka experience.

• Strong experience with:

• Kafka brokers

• Topics and partitions

• Replication strategies

• Consumer groups

• ACLs

• Kafka Streams

• Kafka Connect

• Experience with Kafka KRaft architecture.

• Experience migrating from Confluent Platform to Open Source Kafka preferred.

Kubernetes

• 6+ years of Kubernetes/OpenShift administration.

• Experience deploying stateful applications on Kubernetes.

• Strong understanding of:

• Operators

• StatefulSets

• Storage classes

• RBAC

• Networking

• Ingress
