Senior Learning & Development Manager – Professional Services

Reporting to the Director of Learning & Development, this is a strategic leadership role for an individual who is passionate about developing people, building organisational capability and ensuring the business remains future-ready.

In this role you will help shape the organisations people development strategy working closely with the L&D Director. The Learning & Development function is responsible for four core pillars: Talent Development, Early Talent, Leadership Development and Employee Engagement.

You will provide strategic leadership and operational delivery across the L&D pillars, overseeing the design and delivery of high-impact development programmes working with a team of learning professionals, and partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to develop innovative solutions that meet evolving business needs.

In this role you will:

Partner with the Director of Learning & Development and senior stakeholders to develop and

execute the organisations Talent Development and Engagement strategy;

Oversee the function's core pillars ensuring a cohesive and impactful approach to

delivery;

Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability,

collaboration and continuous improvement;

Act as a trusted advisor to Stakeholders, business leaders and HR colleagues on talent, leadership and organisational capability matters;

Help shape future skills agenda, identifying the capabilities required for long-term

success and embedding these into further development, leadership programmes and talent

initiatives;

Lead the approach to AI capability development from an L&D perspective, ensuring

employees are equipped with the skills, behaviours and judgement required to perform

effectively in an increasingly AI-enabled professional services environment;

Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve the

effectiveness, efficiency and scalability of Learning & Development operations, learner

experiences and programme delivery;

Contribute to the development and execution of the leadership development strategy,

strengthening leadership capability, succession pipelines and organisational resilience.

Experience Required:

You have significant experience within L&D leading innovative initiatives ideally within a

Professional Services/Corporate environment;

You have experience developing and implementing learning strategies that align with

organisational objectives and drive measurable impact;

You are passionate about learning, leadership and the future of workforce capability, with a

strong interest in how AI and emerging technologies are reshaping professional skills and

development;

You have experience leading and developing high-performing teams and are committed to

creating a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence;

You are a clear and confident communicator with strong influencing skills and the ability to build

credibility with senior stakeholders across the business;

You demonstrate strong commercial awareness and can translate business needs into

impactful development solutions;

You have excellent project and programme management skills, are adaptable and responsive

to changing priorities and enjoy operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment;

You demonstrate a strong client service ethos and enjoy building effective relationships across

diverse stakeholder groups;

An executive coaching qualification is desirable.
