Senior Learning & Development Officer

Senior Learning & Development Officer Talent Development Program Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Experience: 6–8 years, including at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role

We are seeking a Learning & Development Lead to drive L&D strategy, employee capability development, and leadership programmes aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Learning & Development strategy , annual training calendar, and training budget.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and identify employee skill and competency gaps.
• Design and coordinate technical, behavioural, leadership, and compliance training using instructional design principles.
• Build competency frameworks, learning pathways, and leadership development programmes .
• Support succession planning, talent development, coaching, and mentoring .
• Manage employee onboarding, external training providers, and Learning Management System (LMS) administration where applicable.
• Evaluate training effectiveness , maintain learning records, and report L&D KPIs .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of Learning & Development experience , including 2+ years in a senior or leadership role .
• Strong experience in instructional design, training facilitation, competency development, and leadership development .
• Excellent stakeholder management, project management, communication, and analytical skills .
• CIPD, SHRM, ATD, CPTD , or equivalent certification preferred.
