Senior Learning Designer

Love great learning design but also enjoy leading the bigger picture? We’re looking for a Senior Learning Designer to join our clients talented team. You'll be someone who can lead discovery, shape smart learning solutions and keep projects moving from idea through to delivery. You’ll work across a variety of projects, partner with great stakeholders and SMEs, and support other designers along the way.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading discovery and getting to the heart of the actual learning or performance need
• Designing end-to-end blended learning solutions
• Taking learning projects from discovery and design through to development
• Working closely with stakeholders, SMEs and end users
• Designing and guiding the development of workshops, digital learning, quick guides and other learning resources
• Keeping multiple projects, timelines and deliverables on track
• Working alongside and supporting other Learning Designers
• Providing feedback and quality assurance across learning solutions
• Looking for ways to improve how the team designs and delivers learning

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced Learning Designer who is comfortable leading the thinking, but equally happy getting stuck into the actual design work.

You’ll ideally bring:

• 5+ years' Learning Design / Instructional Design experience
• Experience working in a large or complex organisation
• Strong experience designing blended learning solutions
• Confidence leading discovery and design conversations
• Great stakeholder and SME engagement skills
• Experience juggling multiple projects and priorities
• A good understanding of adult learning, design thinking and user-centred design
• Experience working in agile or iterative environments
• A desire to coach, mentor and support other Learning Designers

You’ll be confident working independently while also enjoying being part of a collaborative team. You’ll know when to ask the right questions, challenge the initial brief when needed, and keep people updated as things progress.
