Assemblymember Maggy Krell is seeking a Senior Legislative Assistant for her

Sacramento Capitol office. Under the supervision of the Chief of Staff and in

partnership with the District Director and Legislative Director, the Senior

Legislative Assistant will provide strategic advice and oversee

communications, including social media, newsletters, website management,

and press coordination. The ideal candidate will have the capacity to serve the

Assemblymember as a senior advisor, with the ability to think strategically,

creatively, and proactively on communications and policy.

Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a

communications professional, strong academic credentials, and familiarity

with the Assemblymember’s policy priorities.

The successful candidate will have a passion for public policy, possess

excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work

collaboratively within a team environment.

The salary range is $6,375 to $10,191 per month, based on experience. It is

anticipated that the position will be filled between $6,375 and $7,375 per

month.
