Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Linux Admin / Senior System Administrator with strong expertise in Linux/Unix server administration, monitoring, security, virtualization, storage, networking, web/application servers, and databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, manage, and monitor Linux/Unix production servers.
• Manage OS, users, permissions, packages, services, and system configurations.
• Handle HA, clustering, load balancing, virtualization, and SAN/NAS environments.
• Perform server upgrades, patching, migrations, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, logs, CPU, memory, disk, and services.
• Manage LVM, filesystems, storage, backup, and recovery activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, LDAP, NTP, Apache, Tomcat, and IIS.
• Manage and support PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MS SQL Server databases.
• Perform database user management, privileges, replication, backup, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain server security, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security updates.
• Support Nagios, Red Hat Satellite, YUM, WSUS, and SCCM environments.
• Participate in DR activities, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot critical infrastructure issues and resolve incidents within SLA.
• Maintain system documentation and coordinate with Network, Database, Security, Application, and DevOps teams.

Technical Skills

Operating Systems: RHEL/Red Hat Linux, Linux/Unix, Windows Server

Infrastructure: Linux Administration, Server Management, Monitoring, HA/Clustering, Load Balancing, Virtualization, SAN/NAS, LVM & Storage

Web/Application: Apache, Tomcat, IIS

Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
