Senior Linux Cloud DevOps Engineer

At HCLTech , we engineer and automate enterprise-scale infrastructure for some of the world's most demanding organizations. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Cloud DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in RHEL (Linux), Ansible, Azure, and Terraform to design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and automated cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and support enterprise Linux platforms hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Ansible.
• Implement and maintain Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, automation, and platform issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive continuous service improvement.
• Ensure security, compliance, observability, and operational readiness across solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical standards, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Linux, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and engineering.
• Strong experience developing and supporting Ansible automation solutions.
• Proven expertise with Terraform Infrastructure as Code .
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux workloads on Microsoft Azure .
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Strong troubleshooting, implementation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience delivering production-grade infrastructure automation in enterprise environments.
• Ability to work independently within global, cross-functional teams.

• Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
• Python and/or Bash scripting
• Prometheus and Grafana
• OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Red Hat IdM/IPA
• Azure, Red Hat, Terraform, Ansible, or GitHub certifications
