Senior Logistic Coordinator, Crossborder

The purpose of this position is to be responsible for cross-border operations. This candidate must have excellent communication and client management skills in order to maintain positive client relations in coordinating shipments, monitoring delivery performance, liaising with customers, transporters, customs agents and internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely resolution of operational issues.

As a Senior Logistic Coordinator, Cross border, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end movement of shipments between Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring smooth and timely transportation operations. You will work closely with customers, transporters, customs agents, and internal stakeholders to coordinate deliveries, handle permit declarations and documentation, resolve operational issues, monitor service performance, and maintain high customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for logistics professionals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and have experience in transportation or cross-border operations.

Transportation Operations

• Guide and support all functions for all related transportation matter
• Perform internal reviews of adherence to country standards as well as customer SOPs with regards to transportation activities
• Ensure compliance with country subcontractor management policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the team will achieve a high-level of KPI and operation standard
• Ensure that billing is completed accurately and timely and P&L is managed accurately
• Execute transportation operations in accordance to the SOP and stipulated KPIs

Subcontractor Management

• Ensure that the KPIs are being achieved by the subcontractors
• Work with suppliers to improve their service if KPIs are not being met

HSSE

• Ensure that HSSE guidance is followed by subcontractors and staff
• Understand the HSSE policy of the company
• Follow the HSSE policy of the company
• Report near misses to Manager / Supervisor

Requirements

• Preferably 3-8 years of Singapore-Malaysia cross-border trucking experience
• Familiarity with permit declarations/customs documentation
• Team player with a good working attitude and the ability to learn quickly
• Understanding of financial process and P&L management
