Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join exciting, large-scale AI and Machine Learning projects at Türkiye's leading airline , contributing to innovative, data-driven solutions that shape the future of aviation.✈️

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Machine Learning models for real-world business challenges
• Work on Customer Segmentation, Recommendation Systems, and Revenue/Demand Forecasting projects
• Process and analyze large-scale datasets using Apache Spark / PySpark
• Perform feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and optimization
• Develop production-ready ML code and support model monitoring and automated retraining processes
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Platform teams to integrate ML models into existing environments

Required Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python and Traditional Machine Learning techniques
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark / PySpark
• Experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, or LightGBM
• Solid knowledge of Classification, Regression, Clustering, and predictive modeling
• Practical experience in Customer Segmentation, Recommendation Systems, or Forecasting
• Experience developing and preparing ML models for production environments
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Spark MLlib
• Familiarity with OpenShift or container-based environments

Knowledge of S3, Apache Iceberg, or Feature Store architectures.
