Senior Machine Operator

Shifts: 12 hour shifts (rotation, 2-2-3)

• Day shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (4 openings)
• Night shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (4 openings)

The Opportunity:

Earth Breeze is looking for a Senior Machine Operator to be the go-to operator on each shift, keeping production running safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

As a Senior Machine Operator (reporting to the Shift Supervisor), you'll be responsible for running any and all equipment in your area, maintaining output to standards, and will be the on-shift expert for the automation equipment.

Responsibilities:

As Senior Machine Operator at Earth Breeze, you will…

• Operate any and all equipment in the plant, including drums, cutting tables, and inserting machines to keep production moving on every line
• Help Team Leaders direct the personnel on your line
• Step in for any operator position as needed to minimize downtime and maintain production goals
• Complete shift reports, housekeeping inspections, checklists, and audits to support accurate records and a safe, organized facility
• Help cover other shifts if needed
• Assist with setups and changeovers to keep lines running efficiently
• Train and support newer operators on equipment, procedures, and safe work practices
• Act as the certified trainer for your equipment/area
• Conduct quality inspections and escalate defects or irregularities to ensure consistent product quality
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks and report equipment issues promptly to reduce unplanned downtime
• Maintain accurate inventory tracking, including logging material usage and reporting discrepancies
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized, and model safe work practices for the team

Experience & Qualifications:

You bring…

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a manufacturing operator, including experience across multiple positions (case packers, palletizers, cutting equipment, etc.)
• The ability to fill in for any position in the facility
• Forklift certification (or willingness to be certified)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
