Senior Manager Analytics

Connect Search has a client who is a SaaS Insurance Organization, seeking a Manager, AI and Analytics - anyone with claims or underwriting insurance environment is a plus.

$180k to $205k plus 20% Bonus

We are seeking a hands-on AI & Analytics Manager to help build and lead a growing analytics function from the ground up. This is a player-coach opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems through data while mentoring a small team and shaping the organization's analytics and AI strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on analytics initiatives, including predictive modeling, statistical analysis, segmentation, and business performance optimization.
• Leverage Python, R, and SQL to develop analytical solutions that drive business decisions.
• Partner with business leaders to translate complex questions into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Oversee BI reporting and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI , establishing best practices and standards.
• Support the implementation of a new Databricks data lakehouse and help define the analytics technology roadmap.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and advanced analytics across the organization.
• Mentor and develop BI/analytics professionals while remaining actively involved in technical delivery.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in hands-on analytics, data science, or advanced business analytics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and/or R , including predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to independently solve diverse analytical business problems.
• Previous team lead or management experience preferred; ideal for an emerging leader ready to take the next step.
• Experience with Databricks, AI initiatives, or insurance/financial services is a plus.
