Senior Manager / Associate Director – AI Engineering

Location: London, hybrid

We’re supporting a major consulting organisation as it expands its enterprise AI capability. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can take AI agents from prototype to production, lead engineering teams and advise senior clients.

The role

• Lead AI engineering engagements from discovery through deployment.
• Build agentic systems and connect them to SAP and other enterprise platforms.
• Design reliable workflows with appropriate evaluation, monitoring and human oversight.
• Set technical direction, mentor engineers and advise senior client stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposals and the growth of the AI capability.

Requirements

• Must have experience working in a consulting firm , leading client-facing technology delivery.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM or agentic applications into production.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and advising senior stakeholders.

SAP experience is useful, but strong AI engineering and consulting experience are the priorities.
