Senior Manager, Benefits

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Benefits to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead the strategy, design, and governance of global benefits programs in support of a growing, remote-first organization. The successful candidate will partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to strengthen the employee experience while ensuring programs remain competitive, compliant, and scalable. This is a highly visible opportunity to shape benefits offerings through data-driven decision-making, thoughtful program execution, and strong people leadership.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $151,300 – $222,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, design, and roadmap for global benefits programs
• Define and track key program performance metrics to inform decisions with data
• Lead and mentor the benefits team while managing vendor relationships and work
• Build partnerships across teams to develop and communicate benefit policies
• Oversee compliance and governance for all benefit plans
• Drive successful annual Open Enrollment through strategic planning and execution
• Enhance the overall employee benefits experience through effective service and support

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive US benefits experience, with a focus on program strategy and design
• 3+ years leading a benefits function, including experience managing teams or directing vendor work
• Experience owning full benefits renewal cycles, including negotiation and execution
• Deep knowledge of health and welfare programs, benefits compliance, and governance
• Experience thriving in scaling technology companies amid organizational growth and ambiguity
• Some knowledge of international/global benefits administration and Workday Benefits experience
