Role Description The Senior Manager Clinical Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for planning, leading, and overseeing all clinical operational activities across assigned studies, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing clinical trial execution, supervising and mentoring clinical research associates, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and liaising with investigators, sites, and vendors. The role involves developing and updating clinical operations processes, tracking study progress, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring adherence to GCP, SOPs, and ethical standards. The Senior Manager Clinical Operations will also contribute to risk assessment, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of clinical trial operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Clinical Operations and Project Management skills to lead complex studies and coordinate timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Candidates should possess deep expertise in Clinical Research and Research methodologies to design, implement, and monitor high-quality clinical trials.
• Candidates should possess experience working with Clinical Research Associates, including mentoring, oversight, and performance management in multi-site studies.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards relevant to clinical trial conduct.
• Candidates should possess excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, sites, regulators, and external partners.
• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or related field, with substantial experience in clinical operations leadership, is highly beneficial.
• Experience in anti-infective or oncology clinical trials, and familiarity with global clinical development frameworks, will be an added advantage.
