Senior Manager, Compensation

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Compensation to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. You will partner with people leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to align rewards programs with business needs and employee experience. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Mclean, VA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,700 – $229,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Consult with HR and business leaders for compensation guidance
• Develop and present compensation proposals to senior decision-makers
• Analyze the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation programs
• Conduct benchmarking and job evaluations
• Serve as a compensation contact for executives
• Coach junior team members in analytical support
• Lead compensation cycles for assigned client groups
• Collaborate with recruiters on competitive offer packages

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
• 5+ years in Compensation, Finance, or Analytics
• 5+ years in client management or consulting
• 2+ years in people management
• 3+ years proficiency with Excel and presentation software
