Senior Manager - Finance

Team & Operations Management

• Supervise and mentor 2 junior accountants, reviewing their work and ensuring quality and accuracy
• Own and manage the monthly compliance calendar in coordination with the US CPA firm
• Oversee timely month-end job closing across all US operations
• Ensure timely and accurate expense entry across finance systems

Compliance & Tax

• Manage US state tax filings and ensure state-wise statutory compliance across all operating states
• Coordinate with the CPA firm on federal and state compliance deadlines, filings, and documentation
• Own transfer pricing documentation and compliance between the Indian parent and US entity
• Liaise directly with external auditors for annual audits, queries, and documentation requests

Banking & Reconciliation

• Manage the banking relationship and liaise directly with the bank on account matters
• Perform and oversee monthly bank reconciliations
• Report directly to the CEO on bank reconciliation status and flag critical outstanding items requiring

attention

Payroll

• Process end-to-end payroll for all US-based employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure payroll tax withholding and filings are compliant with federal and state requirements

MIS & Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements for management review
• Support the CEO and leadership team with financial data and analysis for decision-making
• Ensure financial records are audit-ready at all timesRole & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Must-Have

• CA / CPA / MBA Finance (or equivalent) with strong US accounting and compliance exposure

• Prior experience managing US state tax filings and multi-state statutory compliance

• Hands-on experience with US payroll processing

• Working knowledge of transfer pricing principles and documentation

• Experience liaising directly with CPA firms, auditors, and banks

• Prior experience supervising a small accounting team

• Willingness and ability to work 2:00 PM 12:00 AM IST shift to overlap with US business hours
