Senior Manager, Generative AI Engineer

Join a high-impact AI engineering team focused on building enterprise-grade generative AI solutions that can make a real difference in business operations and decision-making. This hybrid role is based in Boston and offers the opportunity to help shape foundational agentic capabilities in a greenfield environment, with a strong emphasis on solution architecture, collaboration, and delivering practical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents and agentic workflows that address complex enterprise needs.
• Develop scalable solutions using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, orchestration frameworks, and autonomous agent patterns.
• Create multi-step AI workflows that connect with enterprise systems, APIs, and business processes.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and turn ideas into production-ready AI solutions.
• Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and platforms to improve delivery speed and solution quality.
• Support solutions that meet enterprise expectations for scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Contribute to solution discussions and present architecture approaches in a client-facing, collaborative environment.

Skills

• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents in enterprise environments.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI Foundry.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt design, tool calling, memory management, and agent architectures.
• Solid software engineering skills, including API integration, system design, and application development.
• Experience using at least one AI-assisted development platform such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, or Slingshot.
• Ability to approach problems from both a technical and solution-oriented perspective.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a client-focused mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with agent orchestration and observability frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or LangSmith.
• Familiarity with cloud-native AI architectures and MLOps best practices.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise data platforms and business applications.
• Background delivering AI solutions in financial services, especially asset management.
• Experience supporting strategic AI initiatives in a rapidly evolving environment.
