Senior Manager – Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Manager – Infrastructure & Cloud Operations is the accountable owner for MAGRABi's cloud infrastructure, store networks, physical data centre operations, and information security programme. This role ensures operational reliability across the AWS and Azure environments, the LIC and SMC data centres, the disaster recovery sites, and store networks in over 300 locations, while leading the enterprise information security upgrade programme.

Qualifications and Education:

▪ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

▪ AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator certification preferred; ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP, or CISM certification is a plus

Experience

▪ 10-13 years of experience in infrastructure and cloud operations with a security-aware background with at

least 5-7 years of managerial experience

▪ Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud environments, with AWS or Azure required

▪ Experience managing disaster recovery environments and business continuity planning

▪ Proven ability to manage external security consultants and audit processes

▪ Multi-country or multi-site infrastructure management experience is a plus

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Manage MAGRABi's cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure: environment provisioning, performance, reliability across all markets, and cost management through FinOps practices

▪ Govern cloud spend and build FinOps maturity through cost allocation tagging, budget tracking, and optimisation reporting to the SVP

▪ Own the LIC disaster recovery site build and the ERP disaster recovery Zurich implementation from the infrastructure side, ensuring business continuity standards are met

▪ Lead the information security programme: SSO and identity management rollout, zero-trust architecture implementation, and vendor and third-party access controls

▪ Commission and manage the Tier 1 security, network, and cloud audit jointly with Risk & Compliance, and deliver the findings and remediation plan

▪ Oversee physical data centre operations at the LIC and SMC facilities, covering hardware lifecycle, power, cooling, and physical security, and own all store networks and on-site technical standards across 300+ locations

▪ Manage all outsourced and managed service partners across the department, including the security consultant, cloud managed services, hardware vendors, and network providers: set service levels, monitor performance, and hold partners accountable for delivery

▪ Process map the department end to end and permanently resolve recurring issues: document current-state processes, close gaps with standardized operating procedures, and apply root-cause analysis and sustainable remediation to every repeated incident
