Senior Manager, Infrastructure

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This leader will oversee infrastructure operations that keep critical cloud and datacenter environments reliable, secure, and ready to scale.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with operational discipline across hardware, networking, compute, and cloud services.

The ideal candidate will also help guide the organization’s transition toward more AWS-native application engineering while partnering closely with engineering and security stakeholders.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $190,000 – $210,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the datacenter infrastructure team, ensuring reliability and security.
• Oversee operational practices across hardware, networks, and computing resources.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain scalable infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements in operations.
• Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans as needs evolve.
• Drive the transition toward AWS-native cloud application engineering.
• Establish best practices for cloud operations with a focus on automation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering and operations, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• 6+ years of leadership experience leading teams through technical transitions.
• Hands-on experience with physical datacenter operations, including hardware, networking, and compute.
• Working knowledge of AWS PaaS services such as ECS/Fargate and DocumentDB.
• Experience with automation and DevOps practices in production environments.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
