About the Opportunity

A premier enterprise technology services organization is seeking a Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure & Solutions Architecture to serve as the principal technical authority across core infrastructure design, enterprise virtualization, and cloud platforms.

In this high-visibility leadership role, you will bridge executive strategy and technical operations—acting as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders while directing a high-performing engineering team to deliver secure, highly resilient enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Executive Technical Advisory: Serve as the primary Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME), delivering strategic and direct technical guidance to executive leadership.
• Architecture & Solution Validation: Review, validate, and refine complex pre-sales architectures and technical designs to ensure operational feasibility, scalability, and performance.
• Deployment & Service Delivery: Oversee the execution and deployment of approved customer solutions in close alignment with Service Delivery and IT Operations leaders.
• Escalation Engineering: Act as the ultimate technical escalation authority for critical system incidents, driving swift root-cause resolution and zero service disruption.
• Infrastructure Modernization: Lead continuous optimization, capacity planning, and modernization across multi-tenant virtualization platforms, enterprise SAN/NAS storage, and cloud environments.
• Governance & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and ITIL frameworks across all managed infrastructure lines.
• Engineering Leadership: Coach, mentor, and build a high-performing engineering team, fostering operational accountability and deep technical execution.

Core Qualifications

• Total Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud architecture.
• Leadership Track Record: 3–5 years in engineering management, lead systems architect, or technical advisory roles.
• Virtualization & Systems Mastery: Deep technical expertise in enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware, Red Hat Virtualization), enterprise storage architectures, and core networking.
• Compliance Frameworks: Practical experience enforcing PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and ITIL standards in high-security enterprise environments.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication skills with a track record of presenting directly to C-suite executives.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
