Senior Manager / Manager, Corporate Communications

The Senior Manager / Manager, Corporate Communications is responsible for supporting the Corporation's corporate communications, public relations and stakeholder engagement initiatives. The role will contribute to enhancing the Corporation's reputation, strengthening stakeholder understanding of the San Tin Technopole project, and ensuring consistent and effective communications across various channels and audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of corporate communications, public relations and stakeholder engagement initiatives in support of the Corporation's objectives
• Prepare communication materials, including press releases, speeches, presentations, briefing notes, corporate publications, website content and social media content
• Coordinate media relations activities, including handling media enquiries, organizing media events and maintaining relationships with media representatives
• Support the planning and execution of communication campaigns, corporate events, project launches and stakeholder engagement activities
• Execute executive communication initiatives to create high reputational impact for the Corporation
• Monitor media coverage, public sentiment and industry developments, and provide insights and recommendations to management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure consistent messaging and effective delivery of communication initiatives
• Support issues management and crisis communication activities as required
• The role and responsibilities may be subject to change, as assigned by senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or other related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public relations, corporate affairs or related functions
• Experience gained from sizeable corporations, professional organizations, public sector, statutory bodies, quasi-government organizations or public affairs agencies is preferred
• Experience in driving corporate stories and mandates via multiple media channels
• Experience in handling media partners (online or offline) and agencies vendors
• Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare clear and impactful communication materials in both English and Chinese
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive, resourceful and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) and English is essential
