Senior Manager, Observability Data Platform Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Observability Data Platform Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $118,450 – $236,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and operations of the Observability Data Platform
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance
• Oversee data ingestion and observability services
• Define and implement platform strategy with key stakeholders
• Drive automation and operational efficiency initiatives
• Establish governance and security standards for the platform
• Champion platform adoption and user engagement

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise data, platform, infrastructure, observability, or cloud engineering
• 5+ years leading high-performing teams on complex initiatives
• 5+ years operating large-scale cloud or hybrid systems
• 3+ years managing enterprise engineering projects across diverse teams
