Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager – Operations to lead and optimize end-to-end logistics and operational activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, service quality, and scalable growth across transportation, warehousing, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control all transportation activities across branch and operational locations.
• Ensure timely vehicle placement for full truckload (FTL), part truckload (PTL) and dedicated vehicle requirements.
• Plan and optimize vehicle utilization, route allocation, load consolidation and dispatch schedules.
• Monitor daily operational activities at branch and ensure adherence to company procedures.
• Ensure timely booking, loading, unloading, dispatch and delivery of consignments.
• Review pending consignments, undelivered shipments, delayed deliveries and operational exceptions on a daily basis.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of proof of delivery (POD) and other delivery-related documents.
• Investigate shortages, damages, misrouting, transit delays and other operational discrepancies.
• Establish effective coordination among branch in-charges, warehouse teams, drivers and delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular operational reviews and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, loading and unloading of consignments to prevent damage and loss.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Supervise and guide branch managers, operations executives, transport coordinators and other operational staff across NCR.
• Define responsibilities, work allocation and performance expectations for branch teams.
• Review branch-wise performance, productivity, service quality and operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, operational metrics, and performance dashboards
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and develop operations managers and teams
• Collaborate with sales, finance, IT, and customer service to ensure seamless operations
• Manage vendor, carrier, and third-party logistics (3PL) relationships
• Identify risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management or operations will be an advantage.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain operations
• Minimum 7 years in a senior management or leadership role
• Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms
• Proven track record of operational optimization and team leadership.
• Proficiency in MS OFFICE, Email Drafting, PPT's
