Senior Manager - Payments Analytics

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager - Payments Analytics to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space.

This role will shape payment operations strategy and performance across a fast-moving environment where acceptance, efficiency, and risk management are critical to the guest and customer experience.

The Senior Manager will partner closely with Risk, Fraud, Operations, and external vendors to strengthen payment workflows, improve outcomes, and identify data-driven opportunities for optimization.

Success in this position will require deep payments expertise, strong analytics, and the ability to translate complex operational insights into clear business action.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a scalable payments strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead initiatives to improve acceptance rates and optimize payment performance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on payment operations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Risk, Fraud, and Operations teams.
• Monitor payment performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze payment data to proactively address gaps and risks.
• Manage vendor performance and negotiate improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in payments, fintech, ecommerce, or risk management, preferably in iGaming or online payments.
• Deep understanding of payment processing ecosystems including credit cards, ACH, and digital wallets.
• Experience managing payment processors and vendor relationships.
• Proven track record of optimizing payment performance and workflows.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey complex operational insights.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting large datasets and driving data-informed decisions.
• Knowledge of payment compliance and regulatory standards.
