Senior Manager (Production & Industrial Engineering)

Key Responsibilities

• ·         Represent plant operations as part of the Production Team and provide Operations with support and guidance for resource utilization and cost reduction projects.
• Assess existing manufacturing practices to identify and implement improvement initiatives and deliver regular performance reports for management review.
• Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Analyze process gaps using structured analytical tools including 5M1E, SWOT Analysis and Golden Circle Framework
• Establish standard run rates to benchmark performance, identify gaps by comparing theoretical targets with actual results, and manage production schedules to maximize productivity.
• Design, implement, and promote LEAN practices—including value stream mapping (VSM), continuous flow, workplace organization (5S), waste reduction, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
• Enhance or develop Standardized Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct related training.
• Redesign and improve work areas and layouts for better ergonomics and efficiency.
• Support information and technology system deployments, collaborating with other functional departments to accomplish projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or operations; a background in the catering industry is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial or Manufacturing preferred).
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills to drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge or experience in LEAN manufacturing principles and room systems is highly preferable.
