Senior Manager Quality Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Quality Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This leader will oversee quality engineering strategy and execution across software initiatives, helping ensure product reliability, defect reduction, and consistent delivery standards. The role will guide a team of Quality Engineers and Analysts, partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and provide clear visibility into quality throughout the development lifecycle. It is well suited for a hands-on people leader who can shape test strategy, strengthen QA practices, and support operational excellence across distributed teams.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $105,700 – $149,275 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers and Analysts on best practices
• Oversee quality assurance execution and defect reduction across projects
• Review test plans and manage the bug-tracking lifecycle
• Develop and coordinate test strategies and reporting
• Establish quality assurance best practices across teams
• Provide visibility into product quality during development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage an offshore QA team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Six years of testing experience
• Extensive experience with test strategy and planning for software projects
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to lead and motivate quality assurance teams
• Client or customer management experience
