Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering Top 1200 West

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering Top 1200 West to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This leader will oversee a high-performing Solutions Engineering function supporting strategic customer engagements across a critical market segment. The role is focused on driving technical wins, improving execution quality, and ensuring customer needs are translated into actionable insights for internal partners. You will partner closely with sales and technical stakeholders to scale best practices, strengthen field effectiveness, and support complex deployments in the public safety technology landscape.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $172,000 – $215,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, and retention of the Solutions Engineering team
• Set standards for technical quality in demos, trial plans, and documentation
• Manage capacity and resource allocation across the segment
• Drive technical wins by pairing Solutions Engineers with Key Account Leaders
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for critical deployments
• Systematize successful practices from major accounts for repeatable use across the segment
• Represent customer needs to Product and Engineering, translating field observations into actionable requirements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant technical experience in customer-facing roles
• 1+ years of experience leading a technical team or serving as a technical lead
• Strong understanding of drone technology and public safety sUAS operations
• Working knowledge of public safety technologies such as CAD and VMS
• Proven track record in hiring, onboarding, and developing technical talent
• Comfortable operating within a Sales organization and managing deal strategies
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
