Job Purpose

Shape the strategy and drive the development of an integrated Wealth model for Allianz across the Asia Pacific region. This role serves as a key strategic partner to the Technical Head of Life, leading the design and execution of a differentiated High-Net-Worth (HNW) Wealth proposition — spanning distribution, product portfolio, underwriting, reinsurance, and client services — while managing all relevant internal and external stakeholders.

What you do

Strategy Market Leadership

• Develop and refine a differentiated HNW Wealth Strategy for the Asia Pacific region, aligned with Allianz Group's global ambitions
• Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to anticipate change and maintain a competitive edge
• Identify growth opportunities and translate market insights into actionable strategic initiatives

Product Service Excellence

• Drive the design and evolution of the HNW product portfolio, ensuring it meets the sophisticated needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
• Ensure best-in-class product and service quality across all markets, maximizing customer and distributor satisfaction
• Collaborate with underwriting and reinsurance teams to optimize risk appetite and pricing strategies for the Wealth segment

Stakeholder Partner Management

• Build and lead a cross-functional collaboration model across internal stakeholders (product, distribution, underwriting, reinsurance, operations, compliance)
• Manage relationships with external partners — including distribution partners, reinsurers, and service providers — ensuring alignment on strategic objectives and target achievement
• Partner closely with the regional distribution team to drive sales performance and market penetration

Collaboration Influence

• Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader on HNW Wealth matters across the region
• Engage and influence C-suite executives and senior leaders at partner organizations to strengthen strategic alliances
• Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and client-centricity within the Wealth function

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field• Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) or professional certifications (e.g., CFP, ChFC, FLMI) are preferred

Experience Expertise• 10+ years of progressive experience in the HNW / Wealth segment within the life insurance or wealth management industry• Deep understanding of HNW customer needs, distribution ecosystems (bancassurance, brokers, IFAs), and product structures (universal life, whole life, investment-linked, legacy planning)• Proven track record of developing and executing Wealth strategies in Asia Pacific markets• Strong commercial acumen with experience in PL management or revenue accountability

Skills Competencies• Exceptional relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and navigate complex conversations with distribution partners and C-suite executives across diverse markets• Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English (additional Asian language proficiency is a plus)• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution• Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, creativity, and initiative• Strong analytical skills (AI skills, copilot and ChatGPT) and comfort working with data to inform decisions• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multicultural environment
