Senior Manager/Manager – Regulatory Affairs

Job Overview:
We are seeking a high-caliber professional to join our Regulatory Affairs team within Risk Management & Compliance Department.  This role is a core technical and operational function focused on safeguarding the Firm’s compliance and reputation.  You will ensure adherence to the highest regulatory standards, oversee the client engagement lifecycle under HKSQM 1, and drive the digital transformation of our compliance process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and coordinate the regulatory and compliance matters of the Firm
• Monitor and execute Firm’s KYC/ AML policies and procedures
• Prepare and roll-out training of new or updated risk management and regulatory requirements
• Work with members of other business service lines and professional support units on ad hoc risk management and regulatory projects as required
• Support and uphold the BDO Global Vision
• Demonstrate commitment to the firm's core values and competency expectations

Requirements:

• HKICPA or equivalent professional qualification
• At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience (Big-4/ International audit firms or financial institutions preferred)
• Proactive, responsible, and able to maintain absolute discretion with confidential information
• Familiarity with legal documentation or a strong interest in regulatory law/ compliance technology is a definite advantage
• Excellent communication skills (English, Cantonese & Mandarin) with high emotional intelligence, and willingness to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
