Senior M&E Engineer (Selangor)

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works at construction sites to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Review M&E drawings, technical specifications, shop drawings, and contract documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities on all M&E-related matters.

• Ensure all M&E works are executed according to approved drawings, method statements, project specifications, and safety regulations.

• Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality checks to ensure compliance with project standards.

• Prepare and review progress reports, work schedules, technical documentation, material submissions, and project records.

• Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot engineering issues, and recommend effective solutions during project execution.

• Attend site meetings, project coordination meetings, technical discussions, and client meetings.

• Support project handover, defect rectification, maintenance coordination, and final inspections.

• Guide and mentor junior engineers and site personnel to ensure quality project delivery.

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the immediate superior or Head of Department (HOD) as needed.

Job Requirements

• Must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in M&E construction or building services industry.
• Familiar with M&E systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and construction plans.
• Able to work independently and under tight project deadlines.
• Willing to travel or be based at construction sites when required.
