Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor | NPI & Industrialisation)

About the Company

Our client is a global technology company specialising in advanced equipment used in the semiconductor industry. As its manufacturing operations expand, the organisation is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead product transfers and manufacturing setup across global production sites.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead product transfers into contract manufacturing facilities, ensuring a smooth transition from engineering to production.
• Plan factory setup, including production processes, equipment, tooling and capacity, to meet quality, cost and output targets.
• Develop and validate manufacturing processes, overseeing pilot builds and production trials to ensure factory readiness.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and manufacturing partners to resolve technical issues and support production ramp-up.
• Drive improvements in manufacturing efficiency, product quality and cost, while supporting engineering changes, new production sites and capacity expansion.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience, with hands-on involvement in product transfers, industrialisation and factory setup.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process validation, PFMEA, Control Plans and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and transferring products across manufacturing sites; familiarity with ERP/MRP and PLM systems is an advantage.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex manufacturing programmes.
