Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and licensed Civil Engineer; Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in structural engineering software for analysis, design, and reporting of marine and coastal structures
• Demonstrated experience in structural analysis, design, and preparation of technical reports
• Capability to review, certify, and sign structural plans, calculations, and reports in compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Strong understanding of marine, structural, and construction regulations, with the ability to provide site and technical support throughout the project lifecycle

Key Responsibilities

• Structural Engineering & Analysis: Perform and review advanced structural calculations for waterfront assets such as jetties, piers, wharves, berthing/mooring dolphins, and breakwaters.
• Project Leadership: Act as the Engineer of Record (EoR), taking full regulatory and technical ownership over project lifecycles from conceptual engineering to construction and decommissioning.
• Site & Field Reviews: Conduct field inspections to assess structural integrity, verify that construction conforms to design drawings, and make high-level decisions on material or design deviations on-site.
• Project & Team Management: Author comprehensive technical proposals, manage project scopes, monitor budgets and schedules, and mentor junior-to-mid-level engineers.
• Multi-disciplinary Coordination: Collaborate closely with coastal engineers, geologists, environmental teams, and marine contractors to optimize constructability in subsea environments.
