Senior Manager – API Business Development

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – API Business Development to drive business growth by developing relationships with pharmaceutical companies and generating new API business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit pharmaceutical companies and meet with Purchase, Procurement, R&D, and Management teams.
• Identify new customers and generate qualified API inquiries.
• Promote the company's API portfolio and develop new business opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with suppliers to provide competitive offers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
• Follow up on inquiries and convert opportunities into orders.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Attend pharmaceutical exhibitions, conferences, and industry meetings.
• Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.

Requirements:

• 3–7 years of experience in API sales, pharmaceutical business development, or pharma trading.
• Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical/API industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings.
• Existing relationships with pharmaceutical companies will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
