Responsibilities

• Design and develop customised automation equipment and mechanical systems from concept through to final production.
• Prepare 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical documentation.
• Work closely with customers to understand project requirements and develop practical design solutions.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, production, and project teams to ensure successful equipment integration and manufacturing.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning, resolving design-related issues when required.
• Review and improve existing machine designs to enhance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure all designs comply with engineering standards, customer specifications, and project timelines.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical design, prefer in automation equipment, semiconductor, HDD or precision engineering industries.
• Experience in pneumatic system design and pneumatic circuit diagram prepation.
• Knowledge of linear motion systems.
