Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

1.Mechanical Design Engineering

• Develop and design customized machines and systems to create technologically sophisticated solutions for international customers.
• Responsible for projects in the field of mechanical design, covering the entire process from initial conception to the creation of manufacturing technical documents.
• Collaborate closely with sales, product management, purchasing, and production departments throughout the project execution process.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning, answer related technical questions and oversee the implementation of your designed solutions.

2.Team Leading

• Lead the engineering design team, be responsible for team's training, coaching and development, and manage team performance.
• Responsible for team recruitment, new team member on boarding and on-the job training.
• Build a dynamic, autonomous, performance-driven and collaborative team.
• Work closely with project manager to be responsible for workforce and resource capacity planning.
• Ensure efficient resource allocation to support ongoing customer and product development projects.
• Ensure project works meets global standards, engineering requirements, quality & cost requirements and project timelines.
• Summarize and report the team project activities and progress to the project manager and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics
• Min 10 years of experience in design and development of machinery/ industrial equipment
• Strong in CAD and PDM systems
• Min 3 - 5 years in leadership experience within an engineering or industrial environment
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Organized, problem-oriented and hands on approach
• Experience working in an international organization is preferred
• Willingness to travel internationally when required
