What they need
UAV/Aviation experience desired, but relevant experience will be considered.
We are looking for a seasoned hardware team lead, who will be responsible for planning and leading the design, architecture, implementation and testing of autonomous cargo transport aircraft. Specific responsibilities extend from designing aircraft from the ground up, into building the team and leading the team. The work will span a broad swath from system engineering, into mechanical, aerodynamics and manufacturing, into working closely with the software team and leadership. The technical side is more improtant to us than the leadershipo piece right now. SO, if you prefer to just do senior level, kick butt, work, this might be the one.
Our ideal candidate must be self-motivated, passionate about hybrid eVTOL aircraft development, and have a strong interest in working in a small, fast paced team where a variety of skills will need to be applied day to day.

- Development, implementation, and execution of test fixtures and infrastructure to verify the functionality and robustness of the autonomous aircraft.
- Hardware support and participation in flight tests to validate our system’s functionality.
- Hardware requirements specification, management and tracking, with an eye towards certification when necessary.
