We’re seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Central Engineering team of a leading European construction and engineering organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to take a senior technical role on high-value data centre, pharmaceutical, life sciences and industrial projects , supporting delivery from design through to construction and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical design packages from initial review through procurement and site delivery
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop scopes of work, TIDPs and responsibility matrices
• Review designs for technical compliance, constructability and value engineering
• Coordinate Mechanical interfaces with CSA and Electrical disciplines
• Support project planning, procurement and design approvals
• Conduct site visits and monitor progress and quality
• Manage RFIs, design changes and technical documentation
• Provide technical guidance to construction teams
• Support tenders, PCSAs and project handovers

Requirements:

• 7+ years’ post-graduate experience
• Experience in Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or Industrial sectors
• Strong design, technical and construction knowledge
• Experience leading meetings and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of BIM, Revit and design software
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Clean driving licence essential
