Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems by designing tools and fixtures for current and new products. Work with assembly processes and equipment for a variety of operations in the assembly of implantable and external medical devices.
• Exercise authority and judgment within generally defined practices and policies to select methods and techniques for the design of tools and fixtures.
• Use SolidWorks for designing a variety of analytical tools to verify tools and fixtures effectiveness before submitting to validation team.
• Collect requirements, conceptualize, present, detail designing, verification and release tools and fixtures for validation.
• Interact with cross-functional teams in Process Development, R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Production and Quality to ensure tools and fixtures meet requirements.

Requirements

• Solid mechanical background, master or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 - 10 years of experience in mechanical design for Senior position. Disposable medical product ，device development experience is preferred.
• Good experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T), Design for Manufacturing(DFM), Tolerance Stack Up Analysis.
• Be familiar with SolidWorks.
• Be familiar with different process for Process engineer.
• Familiar with common engineering materials and corresponding manufacturing technology (e.g. Plastic parts, metal-sheet parts, Die-casting and machining parts etc.).
• Ability to work effectively in complex projects; With innovation skills and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal/intercultural skills.
