Senior Mechanical Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize of Mechanical Equipment designs for constructability.
• Support, assess, approve and manage technical deviations of Mechanical Equipment
• Manage and monitor development of designs of Mechanical Equipment for a project
• Mechanical Equipment cost estimation
• Provide and support of Engineering standard specifications of Mechanical Equipment
• Provide detailed engineering services for Mechanical Equipment
• Process technology development of Mechanical Equipment
• Mechanical Equipment technical Service Support
• Coordinate subcontracting and procurement requirement and negotiate/ensure negotiation of contract terms with subcontractors and vendors of Mechanical Equipment
• Support commissioning and startup services

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.

• Experience:

  • More than 10 years of experience in Mechanical Equipment Engineering for petrochemical plants and refineries.
  • More than 7 years of experience in Mechanical Equipment Engineering Detail Design.

• Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Familiar with applicable Mechanical Equipment code and standard utilization.
  • Good understanding in function of Mechanical Equipment.
  • Mechanical Equipment engineering work across design, selection, evaluation.
  • Sound understanding of related plant process
  • Good multi discipline coordination, communication and teamwork
