Key Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive HVAC system design calculations, including heat load assessments.
• Develop system designs with equipment specification for permit submissions.
• Utilize EnergyPro software for HVAC analysis and compliance with California energy standards.
• Conduct field evaluations to collect data essential for system design.
• Design and size a variety of systems: air-cooled/water-cooled, ventilation control, among others.
• Engage in other related engineering and design tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient with EnergyPro, Blue Beam, and AutoCAD software.
• Extensive experience in the HVAC air conditioning sector.
• Familiarity with diverse air conditioning systems like heat pumps, VRF, chillers, etc.
• Strong knowledge of California codes and ASHRAE standards.
• Preferred: Engineering degree and California Professional Engineering license.
